“Yes, God answers prayers… but not yours. Others are favored… you are forgotten.”
TEXT: “God is no respecter of persons.” — Acts 10:34
DEVOTIONAL:
This lie is subtle, poisonous, and very common among sincere believers.
The enemy wants you to believe God works miracles — just not your miracles.
He wants you to believe God restores marriages — but not yours.
God heals bodies — but not yours.
God opens doors — but not yours.
This lie creates a silent, hidden disappointment with God.
A quiet ache in the heart that says,
“Maybe I’m not seen… maybe I’m not chosen… maybe I’m not worthy of that kind of blessing.”
The same God who lifted Hannah out of barrenness…
Who repositioned Esther from orphan to queen…
Is the same God who sees you — Your prayer is not too small for God’s power or too late for God’s timing.
Sometimes the delay is not denial —
it is divine preparation.
When God moves for someone else—If He did it next door, it is a proof that He is still in the neighborhood and He can do it in your house.
Your miracle is not cancelled — it is scheduled.
PRAYER:
“God has not forgotten me.
What He does for others, He can do for me.” In Jesus’ name, Amen.
