LIES THE DEVIL TOLD YOU!
“Your prayers don’t count… God won’t hear you… Your faith is too weak… You must pray perfectly for God to move.”
TEXT: “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed… nothing will be impossible for you.” — Matthew 17:20
DEVOTIONAL:
One of the devil’s most destructive lies is the lie of spiritual inadequacy — the belief that your prayer is too weak, too short, too imperfect, or too empty to touch Heaven.
He knows that if he can attack your confidence, he can silence your voice.
If he can silence your voice, he can weaken your authority.
If he can weaken your authority, he can slow your destiny.
The enemy does not fear long prayers — he fears faith-filled prayers.
He fears prayers that come from daughters who know who they are in Christ.
Jesus did not say, “If you have strong faith,”
He said, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed…”
Why? Because the power is not in the size of the seed — it’s in the source of your faith.
Your prayer does not move God because of its length or eloquence.
It moves God because of His love, His covenant, and His faithfulness.
Child of God, hear this:
Your whispered prayer carries thunder in the spirit.
Your tired prayer, prayed with sincerity, shakes hell.
Your broken prayer reaches the heart of God faster than perfect words ever could.
Heaven does not move because you pray beautifully —Heaven moves because you believe.
Today, silence the voice that says you are “not spiritual enough.”
Reject the lie that says your faith is too small.
God has never required perfection — only honesty and trust.
REFLECTION:
What does mustard-seed faith look like in your current situation?
PRAYER:
Lord, silence every voice that tells me my prayers don’t matter.
My Small faith in a BIG God is more than enough. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
