Devil You Lied 7

Devil You Lied– “My Past does not define who I am”

7 LIE EXPOSED: “Your past disqualifies you. Your weaknesses make you unusable. God can use others, but you? Never.”

“You’re Too Weak, Dirty, or Broken to Be Used by God”

TEXT: “My power is made perfect in weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9

DEVOTIONAL:

This lie strikes at the very heart of your calling and identity.

The enemy knows that when you understand your worth in God you become dangerous.

So he tries to stain your past, magnify your flaws, and amplify your weaknesses until you feel unusable.

But God has never picked perfect people — He chooses the willing, not the flawless.

Look through Scripture:

  • Rahab was a prostitute… yet became part of the lineage of Christ.
  • Moses was a murderer… yet God trusted him to deliver a nation.
  • Jacob was a deceiver… yet became Israel, the patriarch of a nation.
  • David committed adultery… yet remained “a man after God’s heart.”
  • The Samaritan woman had five failed marriages… yet became an evangelist.
  • Mary Magdalene was tormented by demons… yet was the first to proclaim the resurrection.

Do you see the pattern?

God does not avoid broken vessels — He fills them.

Your weakness is not a barrier; it is a doorway.

When you feel unworthy, God says,

“Give Me your weakness — I will give you My strength.”

When you feel dirty, God says,

“Give Me your past — I will give you a future.”

When you feel broken, God says,

“Give Me your fragments — I will give you purpose.”

Heaven is not looking for perfect women —

Heaven is looking for surrendered women.

And daughter, when you surrender, God will use you mightily. He will transform your pain into purpose, your wounds into wisdom, and your story into a testimony.

PRAYER:

God uses me, fills me, strengthens me, and shines through me.

My past cannot stop my purpose.”

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
