Did The Devil Say: “You Can’t Be Forgiven?”

5 LIE EXPOSED: “Your sin is too big. Your past is too dirty. God is tired of you. Grace has limits, and you’ve crossed them.”

TEXT: “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow.” — Isaiah 1:18

DEVOTIONAL:

This lie has kept more believers in bondage than any other.

The enemy knows he cannot undo the blood of Jesus……so he tries to convince you that you are not worthy of it.

He wants you to believe that forgiveness is for “better Christians,”….for those who made fewer mistakes,….for those with cleaner histories,…..for those whose sins were not as dark as yours.

But hear this clearly:

The Cross was not built for people who had it all together.

It was built for people who were broken, guilty, ashamed, and lost.

Your sin does not shock God.

Your past does not intimidate Him.

Your confession does not annoy Him.

You are not forgiven because you “earned” it— You are forgiven because Jesus paid for it — fully, finally, and forever.

The enemy wants you to keep apologizing for what Christ already erased;

God wants you to walk in freedom, not fear.

When God forgives you, He removes your sin —not to the corner, not behind His back —but as far as the east is from the west.

Daughter of grace, breathe.

You are forgiven — fully, completely, eternally.

REFLECTION:

Do you believe God forgives you easily, or do you still feel you must “earn” forgiveness?

PRAYER:

Lord, thank You for Your endless mercy.

I release every burden of guilt and I walk boldly as a forgiven, redeemed, restored daughter of God.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
