Renaming My Valley Series– Part 4
My Valley: The Place of Transformation.
Scripture: “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me…”. Psalm 23:4
Esthers, the valley you’re walking through may feel like a place of delay or defeat—but in the Kingdom, valleys are classrooms for transformation. God never wastes our pain. He uses it to prune, prepare, and reposition us for the purpose we were born to carry.
David said, “Even though I walk through the valley…” He didn’t stop there. He walked through. That means the valley was never meant to be your grave—it’s your growth zone.
The valley strips what doesn’t serve your next season. It exposes fear so faith can rise. It challenges comfort so courage can grow. And most importantly, it draws you closer to the Shepherd who transforms your identity in the fire, not just on the throne.
In that valley:
-Ruth was transformed from a grieving widow to the lineage of Christ.
- Joseph was refined from prisoner to prime minister.
- Esther was prepared from hidden orphan to royal intercessor.
The transformations don’t happen after the valley—it happened in it.
Prayer:
Adedoyin.
“This valley is not the end of me—it’s the making of me. I am not stuck; I am being shaped. I am not broken; I am being built. God is transforming me for such a time as this.” in Jesus name Amen 🙏.
